Josh Matte

About:

• Josh is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator, performing and managing business valuation, transaction advisory, and litigation support services since joining XPS Group in 2012.  Prior to this, Josh articled to become a Chartered Accountant with a national accounting firm in Victoria, BC, and was promoted to Manager, Assurance and Business Advisory Services, managing audit and due diligence services for a host of not-for-profit and private sector clients.

Experience:

• Josh was previously the Senior Controller for a publicly traded real estate investment trust and was responsible for the REIT’s public financial reporting obligations, including investment property fair market value analysis.

Education & Professional Licenses:

• Josh completed his Bachelor of Economics degree at the University of Victoria.

Interests & Hobbies:

• In his spare time, Josh volunteers with youth in the community as a Director and Head Coach for Island Fire Football Association (IFFA), a local volunteer-powered not-for-profit youth soccer academy.
